Sky Cat

One of the things I find most amusing about having been an artist for as long as I have (and with the brain that I do) is that I have lots of work that I have forgotten about over the years. (re)Discovering it always feels a bit like winning a prize! So I figured I should start sharing that joy here, too.

The other day, my partner, Kestrel Keller, and I were looking through our flat files and discovered these prints and originals that I had long forgotten about. They’ve always been some of my more favorite work, so I thought it was time to make them available again — you can get the prints framed or unframed in two different sizes, and the originals are up for sale too, if you're interested.

Here is Sky Cat, defending the Sky Kingdom — a brave cat riding his trusty air turtle, fighting off the baddies. The Sky Kingdom is a chain of floating islands high in the clouds, with giant flying eels patrolling the base and sea animals modified for "swimming" in air everywhere you look. And the flying dinosaurs that attack? They never went extinct.
